I) The mechanisms that mediate and modulate cerebral vasculo-neuronal dysfunction and remodeling after brain injury such as stroke and trauma.
II) The cellular and molecular responses to cerebral ischemia and thrombolytic-induced hemorrhage
III) The mechanisms of neuroprotection against brain edema after intracerebral hemorrhage
