The Brain Bank of the University of Science and Technology of China was established by Professor Yong Shen. Professor Shen has extensive experience in building a brain bank in the United States and has long been engaged in research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease. The Brain Bank is a member of The China Human Brain Banking Consortium. The Brain Bank collects samples according to international standards. It currently houses and manages over 100 brains and more than 800 cerebrospinal fluid samples.
